Dhofar Insurance Company is an Omani public joint stock company incorporated on 5 September 1989 whose principal activity is writing all classes of insurance. Established with paid-up capital of RO 3 million, it now has paid-up capital of RO 14 million and is one of the largest insurers in Oman by premium and capital, with an Omanisation rate of 85 percent overall. Its head office is in Ruwi, Muscat.
