Suhail Bahwan Group grew from a small trading enterprise in Muttrah in 1965 into a multibillion-dollar corporate group with over 30 companies and over 7,000 employees in Oman, the Gulf, North Africa and South Asia. Its businesses span automobiles, electronics, computers, travel, healthcare, agriculture, chemicals, fertilizers, construction, engineering, information technology, manufacturing, oil and gas services and telecommunications. Its founder and Chairman Sheikh Suhail Salim Bahwan died on 23 November 2025; Amal Suhail Bahwan is Vice Chairperson.
