نبذة
Sohar Port and Freezone is an integrated maritime, logistics and industrial hub in Sohar. In the first half of 2026 it recorded total cargo throughput of 52 million tonnes, up 52 percent year on year, with container throughput up 40 percent to 545,000 TEUs and 1,555 vessel calls, while projects under execution across the port and free zone represented a combined investment value of RO 2.62 billion. Emile Hoogsteden is CEO of Sohar Port and Dr Raid Al Rubaiey is CEO of Sohar Freezone.
