Dr Aflah bin Said Al Hadhrami is Managing Director of Petroleum Development Oman, taking over from Steve Phimister on 1 June 2024 as the company's first Omani national in the role. He brings nearly three decades of executive, operational and commercial experience in multinationals and government, having previously led Integrated Gas Company SAOC, served as CEO of Alshawamikh Oil Services SAOC, and held roles as Regional Director at BP and Vice President at Occidental Oman.
