Sulaiman Al Harthi is Chief Executive Officer of Oman Arab Bank. He submitted his resignation on 8 August 2026 and the board accepted it on 9 August 2026; he remains in the role until 31 December 2026 to oversee completion of the merger proposal disclosed on 19 July 2026 and the related regulatory approvals. Ali bin Saif Al Mani will succeed him effective 1 January 2027.
