Thuraiya Ahmed Al Balushi is Acting Chief Economic Diversification Investments at Oman Investment Authority and a board member of OQ. She has more than 17 years of experience in investment management and oversees local investments and the development of divestment programmes. She previously served as an Associate in Asset Management, Private Equity at the State General Reserve Fund. She holds a master's degree in business and management from the University of Strathclyde and a bachelor's degree in finance from Sultan Qaboos University.
