Biography

Aziz Aluthman Fakhroo has been Group CEO of Ooredoo Group since 2020. He was previously deputy undersecretary for budget, treasury and financial affairs at Qatar's Ministry of Finance. Under him Ooredoo established Ooredoo Fibre Networks in February 2026 and partnered with du in May 2026 to land the FIG subsea cable in the UAE.
