Biography

Abdulrahman Al Hatmi is Group Chief Executive Officer of Asyad Group, which he has led since 2016. Before Asyad he spent 14 years as a mechanical engineer in the oil and gas industry and founded two startups. Under his leadership the group acquired SFS in 2024 and Ligentia in 2026, listed Asyad Shipping on the Muscat Stock Exchange in 2025 and reports annualised turnover above USD 2.1 billion; Forbes Middle East placed him in its Top 100 CEOs 2026. He is Chairman of Ligentia and Deputy Chairman of Hafeet Rail.
