Biography

Dr. Faisal Al-Faqeer was appointed CEO of SABIC effective 1 April 2026. He was previously Senior Vice President of In-Kingdom Liquids-to-Chemicals Development at Aramco and CEO of Sadara Chemical Company from October 2017 to November 2022. He holds a bachelor's degree in Chemical Engineering from King Fahd University of Petroleum and Minerals and a master's and PhD in Materials Science from Pennsylvania State University.
