Biography

Qais Saud Al Zakwani is Chief Executive Officer of Nama Water Services, Chairman of the Board of Omantel and Deputy Chairman of OQ. He started as an Economist at the Telecommunications Regulatory Authority, became Regulatory Advisor at the Authority for Electricity Regulation in 2007 and its Executive Director from 2014, and led the merger and restructuring of Oman's water and wastewater sectors from 2021. He holds a Master's in Utilities Regulation from the London School of Economics and a Master's in Major Programme Management from Oxford's Said Business School.
