Biography

Tariq Atiq is Chief Executive Officer of Bank Nizwa, appointed in May 2026 after a period as Acting CEO. He has more than 25 years of banking experience across retail, corporate, SME, cards and digital banking, and led the development of Oman's first e-commerce gateway. He holds a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration from the United States and an Executive MBA in Leading Digital Transformation from HEC Paris, and has completed executive programmes at Harvard Business School and INSEAD.
