Cover that satisfies the consulate.
Your policy is issued by a licensed insurer in their own name, not by us. What we do is make sure the cover you buy actually meets the rule your consulate applies.
What each destination requires
The figures below come from the published rules, not from an insurer's marketing.

Buying a policy
We are not selling insurance yet. Until we do, buy directly from an insurer whose policy states the cover amount, the countries it is valid in, and that it includes repatriation. A consulate will check all three.
Before you buy
Check the certificate names the amount
A policy that does not state the cover figure in writing will not satisfy a Schengen application, whatever the insurer says elsewhere.
Check the dates cover the whole trip
Cover must run from the first day of travel to the last, including the days either side that your visa dates span.
Check repatriation is included
Medical cover alone is not enough for Schengen. Repatriation of remains and emergency medical return must be named.
