About

Oman Environmental Services Holding Company (be'ah) was established in 2007 to implement the national waste-management strategy set out in a 2006 National Strategy Report. Headquartered in Muscat and operating under Oman Investment Authority, it manages municipal, industrial and healthcare waste in the country and provides services from collection to disposal. Royal Decree 46/2009 assigns it the implementation of government policy for the waste sector, and it states a commitment to a circular-economy business model.
