Biography

Halima bint Rashid Al Zaree is Chairperson of Oman's Small and Medium Enterprises Development Authority (Riyada). At the 2026 Entrepreneurial Media Forum in February 2026 she said she was optimistic that Riyada's 2026 plan of more than 700 initiatives would lift SMEs' contribution to GDP, and that ready-made factories for manufacturing and the digital economy would speed up business launches and employment.
