Biography

Eng. Maqbool bin Salim Al Wahaibi is Acting Chief Executive Officer of Otech, the digital technology company launched by Omantel on 11 February 2026. He was Chief Executive Officer of Oman Data Park, Oman's first managed and cloud service provider, and a member of its founding team, with more than 20 years of experience in ICT engineering, software development, startups and leadership. At the Otech launch he said integrating Oman Data Park into Otech would scale data-centre operations and sovereign cloud services for government and private clients.
